The Pullman Hotel – Eiffel Tower

Traveling back to Paris was my first international solo trip, so I wanted to splurge on a nice hotel with a view, and within walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. After searching the internet, I found where I wanted to stay, The Pullman Hotel near the Eiffel Tower. No, this isn’t a sponsored post, I paid for my room, and it was well worth it. Being a female, alone in a city I hadn’t been to in almost thirty years (and the first time with my fluent French speaking aunt), I wanted to feel safe. At my age, I’m wasn’t doing a hostel and or sharing a bathroom. Since I also have some hip problems and arthritis, I wanted to be close of my main attraction. Only a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower was just perfect for me. After I bought my plane ticket, I booked my hotel and upgraded to a room with a view.

Eiffel Tower from The Pullman Hotel

Isn’t the view spectacular? Sure, I could’ve gotten a hotel with a view of the entire Paris skyline, but I would be a long taxi or Metro ride away from the tower. I checked in with a very friendly woman at the front desk and made my way up to my room. I put my bags down by the door since the first thing I do in every hotel is take pictures. This time, my first priority was to check out my view. So I dropped my bags and headed for the balcony and when I opened the door and saw my view of the Eiffel Tower it brought tears to my eyes. This was more of a view than I deserved. I was SO close, I could even see people on the tower. I stood there in awe and amazement. Yes, every penny was worth it, and would love to go back every other year. I know, there are so many places to see in this world, but I really enjoyed my time in Paris, and even better, I enjoyed it alone. Not lonely, just alone.

Forgot your adaptors? Not a problem at The Pullman, there are US outlets at the desk. Along with a robe, shampoos and a mini bar stocked with everything you may need for a late night snack. The mini bar is also high tech with built in sensors in it so the front desk knows when you remove a particular item and you can settle your bill at check out! I was afraid of the extra cost, so I didn’t partake, but next time I sure will. Anything you can get at the corner store, but this is convenient when you are sitting on your balcony admiring the twinklie lights of the Eiffel Tower at the top of the hour.

Various outlets.

The complimentary breakfast downstairs left you wanting for nothing. It was full, delicious and the service was superb. You can enjoy meats and cheeses, an omelet made to order, cereal, and much more.

My breakfast

My stay at The Pullman was very enjoyable and the next time I’m in Paris, I would love to stay there again. The service was excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was fabulous. Did I mention the great view?
