Casino’s Around The Globe

This post was written by Josh Saunderson.

Anyone who is a fan of casino gambling loves to try out new casinos and for many, the perfect opportunity for this comes with going on holiday. This gives them an opportunity to try out some of the biggest casinos in the world, as well as the array of games that are subsequently on offer. For some the obvious choice is Vegas, but there are some hidden gems out there waiting to be explored.

One of the world’s best casinos is located in the United States but not in Las Vegas like most would think. The Foxwoods Casino is a large resort found in the northeast state of Connecticut. The casino is actually the second largest in the U.S. and is owned by a Native American tribe within the area. The whole casino revolves around an authentic Native American theme. The immense casino is actually comprised of six smaller casinos which provide guests approximately 350,000 square feet of gaming space. Within this space are over 6,000 slot machine games and 380 gaming tables. A bingo hall is also located at the Foxwoods which can accommodate as many as 5,000 guests at once.

A second casino considered to be one of the world’s best can be found in Germany. The Baden Baden Casino is located in a castle designed with aspects of French architecture in mind. The casino is in the Black Forest which provides not only a great place to gamble but a breath-taking part of the world to visit. The Baden Baden Casino has dedicated poker rooms and will cater to high rollers who visit their casino. Other popular games here include many of the popular online casino games you would find online such as blackjack and roulette. The world’s largest casino is a third casino that one should consider visiting; located in Macau, the Venetian Macau is a sister casino to the Venetian in Vegas. However, the Macau casino is much larger with a massive gaming floor.

I agree Carmen. My husband and I were just in Vegas in April and the casinos there are huge. They also have so many restaurants and shops underneath, they don’t want to you feel the need to leave their casino!
